When I studied for the national boards, I had to ask myself constantly why I was doing something, what standard did it apply to, and what outcome did I hope to achieve. This helped me realize that if I couldn't answer these questions, I shouldn't be doing that activity. Your questions will help keep learning authentic and relevant.
